6-8-14 Worship Recap:

• This Pentecost Sunday was our final message from our sermon series entitled 'Along The Way'.  This week Pastor Mike's sermon was entitled 'Minimize Distractions'  and his message helped us stay on the right path by tuning our hearts to sing God's praise:  Colossians 3:16-  Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.
• The praise band sand several of my favorite songs of Pentecost including Send The Fire & Open Up The Sky .
• For the offering song the Asbury Praise Band sang 'In Christ Alone' with lead vocals by Zach Cotton.
• Also during the service there was special commissioning and prayer for our Summer Mission Teams.
