In Matthew 6: 9-13 Jesus gave us the model prayer known as "The Lord's Prayer." This is my humble attempt to put this Holy word into song.
Be sure to check out (below) Living Waters Jazz's big band instrumental arrangement of this song:
Big band arranger once Mark Graber stated on his website: "When I listened to Tom's midi, I couldn't stop hearing the tune inside my head. Before long I found myself having to hear this song performed by a big band. Sometimes though, the subject of the song is just to big and I turned to God. The arrangement you hear is what came of it. It's an explosion of sound that makes The Lord's Prayer one of my favorite of all time done by anybody. And who can argue with the subject matter. The words are simply, the words of the Lord's Prayer!"

The Lord's Prayer
CCLI Song # 2638609 Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day (our daily bread) Forgive our debts (as we forgive) And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from all evil. For Thine is the kingdom, Thine is the power, Thine is the glory, forever, and ever! A-men, A-men. |
