8-24-14 Worship Recap:

• Sunday's final message from our current  sermon series was entitled ''Dream Big, Pray Hard-''Resurrection".
• From the classic story of Lazarus being raised from the dead by Jesus, Pastor Lindsay Kirkpatrick explained that when it comes to God-sized dreams it takes more than a lot of work-it takes a life of prayer. Martha takes her dead dream and brings it to Jesus. (from John 11:1-27,38-44) 
• For the Peace Offering song  Zach Cotton led the vocals on 'Ascend'
• Guitarist Clint Peppo led the vocals for the offering song as the Asbury UMC Praise Band played 'I Will Rise'.
• Our service also included Ministry Moments highlighting the Asbury Day School & was followed by the 'Blessing of the Backpacks, Teachers, & Students.'
