Smith & Tom Lascoe (Ezekiel 37, Acts 2) CCLI # 3340075 (Verse 1) The Spirit of God to Ezekiel said Can dry bones live For look they are dead But the Spirit brought life To that valley of death Raised up a vast army Of flesh by His breath Like them without You Just dry bones we are With no life and scattered afar (Chorus 1) Fresh wind of God Breathe on us Fresh wind of God Blow through us We are one body in You O Lord Bind us together in one accord For You we wait O hear us pray Breathe on Your people today (Verse 2) The disciples were meeting The doors they had locked Jesus walked in He didn't even knock Don't be afraid My peace be with you As the Father sent Me I'm sending you too He breathed and said The Holy Spirit receive He will dwell in all who believe (Verse 3) In one house together They called on Your name Then at Pentecost Your Holy Spirit came Holy Ghost fall on us this hour Pour out Your Spirit upon us in pow'r Enable us Lord Your wonders to share With all people everywhere (Verse 4) The servant Elisha to the prophet did say My master Elijah with you I will stay But the Spirit took Elijah in a chariot of fire Straight up in a whirlwind Rising higher and higher Elisha was watching and to him was giv'n A double portion of the Spirit from heav'n (Chorus 2) Fresh wind of God Breathe on me Fresh wind of God Blow through me Spirit my mind and my heart come renew All of my being is longing for You For You I wait O hear me pray Breathe on Your servant today (Ending) Breathe on Your servant today Breathe |
